Privacy notice

Interim website notice. This is a temporary notice for this website only; it is not a substitute for MCDF’s formal organizational privacy policy, which requires approval before direct form collection is enabled.

Your information on this website

The participation form collects your name, email address, optional phone number, optional organisation or group, your area, the work you are interested in, how you would like to take part, and your consent to be contacted. It is sent to MCDF’s register database, which the secretariat can read, so your interest can be followed up. Nothing is kept in your browser, and no identity document number is collected.

If the form is not yet connected, or sending fails, nothing is stored: your entries stay on the page and you can send them to secretariat@mcdforum.org yourself. To ask what is held about you, or to have it removed, write to the same address.

AGM registration

Registering for the Annual General Assembly collects your name, phone number, optional email address, attendee category, optional group or organisation, sub-county, optional access or support needs, and an optional comment. Access needs are used only to prepare the venue for you, and the comment is for the secretariat’s preparation. No identity document number is collected.

In preview mode nothing leaves your device: the form builds an email draft in your own mail application, which you review and send yourself. When the operator configures a registration endpoint, the details displayed are sent to that endpoint only after you submit, and the secretariat keeps the attendance register under MCDF’s retention rules. Ask the secretariat for access to, correction of, or deletion of your registration details.

Emailing the secretariat

If you choose “Open my email app”, the details you entered are placed into a draft handled by your email application. Review the draft before sending. Your email provider and MCDF then handle the message according to their own practices.

Website services

This implementation loads its fonts and images locally and includes no analytics, advertising scripts or tracking cookies. Hosting providers may record normal server request logs. The operator must confirm hosting retention and access arrangements before launch.

Before a connected form is enabled

The operator must publish the approved purpose, retention period, recipients, hosting details and contact procedure for personal data requests. A connected form sends the fields displayed to its configured endpoint only after submission.
